Within Olvonict, magic (Zoran) can alter the movement of things. Zoran is a kind of a force. When harnessed correctly (by Zoraners or fancy mechanisms (often found within spaceships)), it moves particles. This can be at tangible scale, or can be at an atomic and sub-atomic scale, i.e. particles, which can change elements and compounds. Moving tiny individual particles takes a lot of energy, and so does moving large objects. The mass at which it takes the least amount of energy to move is about the mass of a die. With a frankly ridiculous amount of it, you can move objects across the Diverse.
Zoran, in its natural, unexpended form, occurs as a colorful, porous and hard crystal. Zoran is attracted to other Zoran with a very strong pull. The pull is strong enough that sometimes the pieces break and to conform to each other.
When Zoran is melted down, it keeps the same magical and attractive properties but in liquid form.
Roshoa City is the largest producer of Zoran in its Galaxy,
Converted into Earth units, a cubic meter of Zoran would weigh about 130 tons and contain roughly 75 TWh of energy (over 6 times heavier and over 10 times more energy compared to uranium). This converts to 75,000,000 (75 million) watts and 130 grams per cubic centimeter. This makes it perfect for fuel in space travel (when reffered to in the context of space travel, Zoran is often called "Chaos". As a result of this ridiculous energy density, really only Zoraners and machinery are allowed to interact with it. The Saturn V, emptied of fuel, would require less than 200 kg of Zoran to get into orbit (see details)
As a rough estimate, assuming Zoran could be converted into thrust at 90% efficiency (not accounting for drag as this is just supposed to show how much energy there is) a spaceship of 3,000 tons (roughly the size of the fully fueled Saturn V) would require roughly 30-35 tons of Zoran to get into orbit. If the Saturn V was emptied of fuel (ROUGHLY 623,700 kg of kerosene + 69581 kg of liquid hydrogen + 1,368,000 kg of liquid oxygen + 345420 kg of liquid oxygen = 2,406,001 kg of fuel; 3000 tons - 2,400 tons = 600 tons of metal 'n' things) for some reason and replaced with Zoran, you would need about 179 KILOGRAMS (0.83% of the original fuel required) to get into low Earth orbit. But again, that's straight energy; Zoran wouldn't, couldn't be used for escaping Earth's gravity, at least in the vertical launch style.
