With the abundance of stolen ships, owners started making their ships hard to fly by changing the way they fly. For example, some systems use both hands in a way similar to a theremin. You can move your hands around and also change the shape of your hand in order to activate different actions. Because of this, there is a lot of diversity in control methods.
Relativity is not a thing in this world, and therefore great velocity can be achieved– *although* special fuel (Zoran) is required to go faster than roughly 65 Artons per second, or 1 Pronn (units). In order to harness Zoran for space ships, a special type of engine called the “Chaos Engine” is required.
