Hammerspace

"Hammerspace" is defined as the portal and physical spot in the land of Hammer that leads to expanded bag storage. The portals (Portal Info) in these systems require lots of energy. Hammerspace systems require a place in order to store items. Small systems are usually radial and have the user just grab the thing they need. Larger systems usually involve portals that lead to a retriever system of some sort. Some cheap retrievers, like the Dead Blow Inc. (Corporations) model S, are hand powered, involving a crank to rotate the contents of the hammerplace, akin to Wall-E. Top end retrievers, like the Gavel Inc. model 9, involve keypads. Some experimental ones are even voice-activated.

Hammerspace is a luxury, the kind of thing you'd get for "Christmas".

Some hammerspaces are bought like apartments, making you rent the hammerplace and requiring you buy energy to keep the portal open, like cell phone minutes (Think old phones). Others, you buy your own hammerplace like a house (maybe mortgage it) and buy unlimited portal time.

To keep the portal open, you need lots of energy. You can only carry so much with you, and therefore you must recharge your capacitor pretty often. You usually do this at home, but there are on-the-go chargers too. Some capacitor systems are limited in how much you can recharge them. [[Portals]] capacitors need a special type of energy, and this energy is very expensive to make.
