The most used calendar system in Olvonict is the Loneosh calendar. It was invented 1649 years ago. Beginning as a method for tracking the cycles of a star, it saw widespread use among astronomers. In the burst of astronomical activity and following increase in astronomers in the year 254, many large organizations, even some not even directly related to astronomy, adopted it as their secondary or even main calendars to appeal to astronomers. Other smaller organizations followed soon after.
